Why multiplex per port?

Each Teltonika model has its own TCP port on the Malambi gateway. This lets us:

  • ✓ Identify the device type instantly without an extra handshake
  • ✓ Use the right Codec8/Codec8E/Codec16 decoder for each model
  • ✓ Isolate failures (a saturated port doesn't impact other models)
  • ✓ Load-balance per device type across multiple IoT servers
