Driver — App

The driver opens the app, scans the vehicle QR code, fills the checklist (brakes, tyres, levels, safety) and signs. If a personal document is expired, the app blocks departure.

The check-in flows to the Malambi server pool (app0/app1). The backend cross-checks HR data: license valid? Social security up to date? Training OK? Not suspended? Instant verdict.

Manager — FleetMan

Mobile app

Driver side

Ionic / Angular application, deployable on Android (and iOS for premium fleets). Engineered to work over degraded 2G/3G connectivity, typical of CEMAC main roads.

Each driver gets their own account. No sensitive data stored in clear on the device — encrypted sync on every login.

Driver login

Auth by employee ID + password. Persistent offline session for 24h.

Vehicle QR scan

Instant vehicle identification. The displayed checklist matches the type (truck, tractor, tanker).

Pre-trip checklist

Mandatory items, photo evidence on non-OK, digital signature. Departure refused if a critical item is not validated.

My documents

The driver sees their own expiration dates: license, medical, training, social security. Notifications at D-30 and D-7.

Personal history

All past check-ins, with the detail of declared items. Useful in case of dispute.

Offline mode

Encrypted local SQLite. Auto-sync as soon as connectivity is back. No check-in lost.

FleetMan backend

Manager side

Module integrated in the SafetyCheck FleetMan plugin. No separate install, no extra server.

Multi-tenant: each hauler only sees their own data. FTP exports go to the principal (Holcim, Heidelberg, etc.) in the format required by the client.

Dashboard

Compliance per driver, vehicle, segment. Monthly ratios, trend curves.

Driver groups

Probationers, experienced, school transport, ATEX tanker. Per-group rules.

Risky road segments

Accident-prone stretches, school zones, work sites. Auto-monitor on GPS pass.

Real-time alerts

Manager notified on: refused checklist, expired document, suspension breached, segment crossed.

Automatic FTP exports

Validation

Regulatory compliance — server-checked

On every check-in, the FleetMan backend runs SafetyCheck.checkisValid(): cross-check of the five regulatory documents required across the CEMAC zone.

If a single one is missing or expired, the driver is flagged non-compliant on the dashboard. The manager can authorize a tracked override.
